Job title: Marketing & Community Liaison Officer
Duration: 6 Months contract * - 40 hours per week (flexitime)
Salary: ÂŁ18,720 p.a. pro rata (inclusive of London Weighing)
Responsible to: Artistic Director / Administration Director

Main Purpose And Objectives Of The Post
-To generate greater access for the programme of work and services offered by the organisation among our target beneficiaries.
-To provide a link / first point of contact between the organisation and the communities we serve and other external agencies.
-To work in association with our partners, community organisations and regional community
development initiatives to help identify the specific needs of our target communities and developing solutions.
-To generate sponsorship / funding for creation delivery and management of initiatives & services.
Essential Skills / Requirements
-The suitable candidate should have excellent communications and marketing skills.
-At least two year’s experience of working with our target communities.
-A proven track record of designing and delivering marketing campaigns that include
conventional and E-based promotions for arts / community development activities.
-Experience of fundraising for projects.
-Thorough proficiency over PC based office administration software.
Desired Skills/ Requirements
-A person with good grasp over London’s artistic and LGBT communities and its mapping.
-The candidate will need to demonstrate effective implementation of operational systems.
Background on Wise Thoughts
Established in 1999, Wise Thoughts is an issue based arts organisation developing arts initiatives and services for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender (LGBT) and Black Asian & Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities. GFest – is an LGBT multi-media arts festival created by Wise Thoughts.
