Urban Youth is a fast growing non profit youth organisation, providing positive activities and support to young people aged 9 to 19 living in Tower Hamlets and the surrounding areas.
It is an exciting time to join our team as we start to expand and extend our current services to young people.

We are currently looking for the following volunteer positions;
Management Committee Memebers: (Meets every 1st Tues of the month)
The Management Committee are a group of people who help steer and direct the organisation to achieve and be the best it can. We are looking for a wide range of people. Must be available to attend meetings on the 1st Tuesday of the month between 6.30pm to 8.30pm and other days throughout the year.
Youth Team Leaders: (Minimum of 4 hours per week) - Evenings
As we are expanding we are seeking people with some experience in working with young people who would like to further there skills in leading and supervising Youth Support Workers and facilitating young peoples learning. Must be available for at least one evening per week between 5.30pm and 8pm or 6pm and 10pm.
Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual Support Workers: (Sat's 1.30pm to 6pm)
We currently have a weekly LGB drop-in and as we have been successful, we are aiming to provide a weekly social and support group. We are looking for a Youth Team Leader to take the lead on this project must have previous expereince working with young people. We are also seeking Youth Support Workers to facilaite young peoples learning and development this position doesn't need any experience as we provide the development and training.
