Shakespeare’s Globe
The Globe Theatre is a reconstruction of the original open-air playhouse designed in the sixteenth century, where the famous playwright worked and for which he wrote many of his greatest plays. The theatre season runs from April to October with productions of the works of Shakespeare as well as modern authors.
