Gay Cafes & Restaurants

When it comes to eating out, London has the best selection of gay cafés and gay restaurants by far. Just take a stroll down Old Compton Street and you’ll be wowed by the array of cafés and restaurants, each and everyone completely gay friendly. Ranging in prices, style, cuisine and ambience, you’ll have no problem choosing which gay café or restaurant tickles your fancy!

If it’s a traditional style café you’re looking for, then head straight for First Out Café, the imaginative vegetarian menu will have you wanting for nothing! For something a little more culinary, Balans in Soho will whisk you away to a world of reasonably priced food and killer cocktails. Alternatively, for the ultimate in gay gastronomy, jump on the tube to Bethnal Green and the fabulous Bistrotheque is a stone’s throw away. Effortless style, a mouth-watering menu, and show-stopping cabaret make this gay restaurant a must-do in the London gay scene.

All in all, the restaurants and cafés in Soho - the epicentre of London’s LGBT community – will be gay friendly and welcome you, quite literally, with open arms. Whilst it is fairly easy to find a table in one of the many gay cafés, it is advisable to book in advance if you would like to dine in one of the restaurants as they regularly become fully-booked.

At London Gay Man, we are always keen to hear from gay friendly companies who wish to list their business on our site.

To get listed here, send your contact details to info@londongayman.co.uk and one of our team will contact you with the relevant information.
